A new Shoreditch half marathon is happening this year

It’s from the same team behind the Hackney Half

The Hackney Half is one of the most popular races in the city, which means getting a spot at the event is no easy feat. Good thing then that another half marathon will be hosted in east London this year. After the success of the Run Shoreditch 10K, the organisers (the very same behind the Hackney Half, the Oxford Half and the Saucony London 10K) are turning it onto a half distance race for 2026.

The Saucony Run Shoreditch, happening in September, will follow a 13.1 mile route through the neighbourhood, starting and finishing in Shoreditch Park. The exact route and timings are still to be confirmed but there will be an event village in the park, complete with live entertainment, food and drink vendors, brand activations, giveaways and more, so it should be a fun vibe.

Entries to the race start at £45 and open on Weds 4th February. It’s going to be a smaller capacity than the Hackney Half, so you’ll want to be quick to secure a spot – you can join the waitlist below to make sure you’re in there first. And if you need a little help with training once you’ve got your place sorted, check out these run clubs.
