It’s Bagels is opening in Soho

This will be the brand’s third London opening in just over a year

Dan Martensen is a man on a mission; just a matter of months after opening a branch of It’s Bagels in Notting Hill, he’s announced a third, coming to Soho this October. The first central London site (as well as Notting Hill, there’s a shop in Primrose Hill) will cater to busy locals by offering a selection of grab-and-go ready filled bagels for the first time.

If you’re happy to wait for your NYC-style bagel to be made to order, you’ll have all the generous schmears and fillings, like The Works (cream cheese, lox, capers, onion, lemon & tomato) and the BEC (bacon, egg & cheese) to choose from, as well as a new whitefish salad made with British haddock. Some previous guest chef collab bagels, including ADIP’s The Grinder and Secret Sandwich Shop’s Salt Beef Bagel will also be available at the Soho shop in limited numbers.

If you’ve been to the other It’s Bagels locations before, you’ll know they have a very specific style (created by Dan’s friends Tal Schori and Rustam Mehta of GRT Architects) paying homage to NYC but in keeping with the vibe of the neighbourhood, and the Soho one will be no different. So if you’ve been looking for a new lunch spot in Soho, you’ve just found it.
