Koya is one of our fave Japanese restaurants in London; besides being one of the best places in town for udon, we keep coming back for its donburi, tempura and Japanese pickles. And now we’re teaming up with Koya City to help you create your own Japanese pickles like a pro.
At this exclusive pickling masterclass, Koya’s in-house expert Aki Henderson will teach you all the secrets behind creating the perfect pickles. As well as rolling up your sleeves and making your own pickles to take home with you, you’ll also get to taste a range of different Japanese pickles that the Koya team produces.
Tickets for the masterclass cost £27 and include the session led by Aki, two jars of pickles to take home, and pickle tasting with tea. If you’d like to stay on at Koya for lunch after the workshop, you can get a ticket that includes all of the above plus a San Sai Tray, which is a main dish and three seasonal sides (vegan or non-vegan), for £42.
