Dive into the city’s best martinis with Sausage Press

Things are getting dirty for issue four

With our sister print brand Sausage Press, we’ve been celebrating the absolute top tier, G.O.A.T. London food and drink spots – we’ve brought you the best Full English breakfasts, low-intervention wine bars, and sandwiches, and now we’re diving into the city’s most iconic cocktail.

The Martini Zine, (dropping in time to celebrate both National Martini Day and World Martini Day this June), features the classiest, briniest and coldest martinis in town. As well as info on the best martinis in the biz, from old-school classics to mighty mini serves, the fold-out zine includes fun facts, the lowdown on what makes each cocktail unique, and beaut photography.

The £7.49 Martini Zine is available for pre-order right now, and to make you feel cooler than a cocktail glass straight out of the freezer, we’re also dropping a new line of martini prints and a fresh batch of merch. Martini tour and illustration tees, martini socks to suit your mood, and cocktail stirrers to match will all be available to shop too, so you can mix things up at home in style.

And we’re stirring things up all month long with a load more martini fun. Head to Bébé Bob from 2nd June for an exclusive mini martini and rosti trio combo – get a mini Bebe Lyan Martini, a mini Dirty Gin Martini and a mini Gibson Martini, paired with a trio of rosti topped with caviar, roe and beef tartare for £35, all month long. Go for lunch or dinner at Twenty8 NoMad on 21st June, aka World Martini Day, and bag yourself Twenty8 Martinis for just a fiver (usually £19) by quoting “It’s a banger”.

We’re also hosting martini masterclasses at Seed Library and The Umbrella Workshop, where you can taste different serves, and a pottery masterclass with Turning Earth Ceramics, where you can craft a coaster to park your cocktail. Be sure to keep an eye on the Sausage Press Instagram too as a mega martini competition will be dropping in June. CHEERS.
