Last month Meet in the Midi, Hackney’s new community-focused listening party, hosted an intimate session celebrating the music of UK dance and dubstep pioneer Skream.
If you missed it… well, you really did miss out – the night was incredible. But don’t worry, because next week Meet in the Midi returns to The BBE Store with a fresh session, this time shining the spotlight on UK soul and alt-R&B star Cleo Sol.
Each edition blends music with in-depth discussion. Expect sounds and musings from Soho Radio’s Karim Bitar between 8-9PM, before an all-vinyl set from female DJ duo Let Me Cry from 9-11PM. There’s also a bar and plenty of opportunity to mingle amongst others so if you’re going alone, you’ll be in great company.
And if one dose of Cleo isn’t enough (trust, we’d get it), she’s also headlining All Points East this Friday at Victoria Park alongside SAULT, Nao, Sasha Keable and other powerhouses.
