
A man was hit by an arrow from a crossbow early Wednesday morning in Brooklyn, police said.
The 56-year-old man was struck in the left hip around 4:46 a.m. at Hanson Place, police said, adding that the man refuse medical treatment.
According to police, Joseph English, 64, was taken into custody and charged with one count assault, one count menacing, one count criminal possession of a weapon. Apparently, English lives at the site of the incident.
Attorney information for English was not immediately known.
It is unclear what lead to the victim being struck by an arrow.
The investigation is ongoing.
