Created in collaboration with Kris Yenbamroong of LA’s NIGHT+MARKET, Chet’s at The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush, is doing Thai food like nowhere else in the city. Blending vibrant Thai flavours with classic American diner vibes, Chet’s, headed up by chef Carolyn Or, has you covered with punchy, playful dishes from morning to night.
You can kick off your weekends with brunch plates like Chet’s bodega sandwich with sai uah sausage, egg and cheese; chicken & roti waffles with tom yum sauce; and Nutella French toast with cornflake crusted milk bread, caramelised banana and condensed milk. Or come in during the week for signatures like:
- five-spice tingling onion with ranch dressing and three flavour party sauce
- pineapple rice with peanuts, eggs and nam pla prik
- Chet’s wedge salad with iceberg lettuce, candied maple bacon, blue cheese dressing, and spicy garlicky nam jim
- Zaab chicken with cucumber salad and Louisiana style honey vinegar
- firecracker prawn noodles with prik tum garlic chilli paste, river prawns, egg, onion, tomato, tenderstem broccoli and golden mountain sauce
- fried chicken khao soi with Chiang Mai curried noodles, katsu-style fried chicken, 63-degree egg and pickled radish
- Everything But the Kitchen Sink Sundae with strawberry, chocolate & vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, Thai beer nuts,
- candied nuts, waffle, cookie crumble and coconut sprinkles
And the cocktails, like the Chet’s Bloody Caesar and the sharing Thaiami Vice (served in a full moon bucket with half a bottle of champagne), are just as fun as the food.
