Hospo entrepreneur Artem Login is the brains behind the newly formed restaurant group
MAD Restaurants, which is also made up of Executive Chef Andy Cook, Head of Beverage Dino Koletsas, and Group Operations Director Giulia Cappuccio, is landing in London with a bang this summer, with two new concepts opening just a month apart. The first, opening in Soho in July is MOI, a Japanese-inspired concept overseen by Group Executive Chef, Andy Cook. The two-floor space will have room for 150 covers plus a private dining room, an omakase sushi bar, and a listening room, which’ll run a programme of music-led events.
The MOI menu will feature a mix of small plates, skewers, sushi, sashimi and larger grills to share, featuring both British ingredients and house ferments. You can expect the likes of:
- fried artichoke with ‘hoba’ smoked caviar and sansho
- Orkney scallops wth juniper kombu
- grilled turbot fillet with yuzu kosho butter
- crab temaki with apple and kimizu sauce
- mackerel crudo with yuzu
- trout nigiri with chives and sesame
Dino Koletsas is curating the drinks programme, putting together a low-intervention wine list, sake and shochu pairings, and cocktails that draw on Japanese techniques.

In August, Spanish restaurant ALTA will be landing in Kingly Court, with chef Rob Roy Cameron (who spent time at El Bulli) at the helm. Named after the northern Alta Navarra peninsula, ALTA will spotlight open-fire cooking and flavours from the Basque country, with dishes like:
- Cornish mussels and grilled bread
- baked beetroot salad with almonds and balsamic dressing
- wood-fired courgette with pumpkin seed romesco
- razor clams in white escabeche and homemade txistorra & onion cider jus
- grilled 38-day-aged beef sirloin
- grilled turbot head
- chocolate mousse with smoked olive oil meringue
- Basque cheesecake with escabeche strawberries
Dino Koletsas is also doing the drinks list at ALTA, this time curating a selection of European low-intervention wines, ciders from UK producers, sherries, Spanish vermouth on tap, and cocktails that follow a savoury flavour profile. The restaurant, taking over two floors of Kingly Court, will seat more than 100, with a private dining room, a large open-fire grill at the heart of a borderless kitchen, a chilled seafood counter and an outdoor terrace.
