The Yankees acquired Ryan Weathers in a trade with the Miami Marlins, according to Yes Network’s Jack Curry.
The Marlins reportedly received a haul of four minor leaguers in exchange for the starter.
Weathers, who appeared in just eight games in 2025 while dealing with injuries, recorded a 3.99 ERA for the Marlins. He struck out 37 batters in 38.1 innings of work.
