The Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra are expected to be unveiled on October 7, though Samsung hasn’t confirmed the date yet. Obviously, the company hasn’t said anything about the prices either – that said, a leaked poster that was shared by Sparrows News may reveal the prices for India.

For comparison, a Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra Wi-Fi 12/256GB was ₹111,000 last year, the 5G 12/256GB version was ₹125,000. So if the info on this poster is true, the base cost for the Ultra model will go up significantly, while the 5G upgrade will only cost slightly more.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra leaked renders
There was no new Plus (12.4”) model last year – the last Plus, the Tab S10+, is from 2024, so there is no direct comparison. This year we expect to see a Plus model and an Ultra (14.6”), but no vanilla model (11.0”). For one reason or another, Samsung has adopted this leapfrogging release strategy for its vanilla and Plus flagship slates. Only the Ultra tier gets refreshed every year.

The Tab S11 Ultra Wi-Fi 12/256GB started at $1,200, so expect a $200 price hike in the US. That’s not as bad as the 35% increase expected in India, but it’s still not great.
Based on Geekbench results, the new tablets will be powered by the Dimensity 9500 from last year. The Galaxy Tab S12+ might get a larger battery, but the Tab S12 Ultra will keep the 11,600mAh/45W configuration of its predecessor.
