There’s a new competitive socialising venue coming to town
Not content with being the UK’s largest beer hall, Big Penny Social in Walthamstow will also soon be home to brand new games concept Flukes. Opening on Thurs 8th May and occupying a 5000 sq ft space above the hall, complete with its own immersive entrance, Flukes will feature classic games given a high-tech upgrade, making it the perfect place to indulge in a little friendly competition.
As well as four pro-standard American pool tables to play on, there’ll be six interactive darts oches and two interactive shuffleboards (the first of their kind in the UK) where you can show off your skills. Flukes will also boast three karaoke rooms powered by Lucky Voice, where you can celebrate your victories by belting out your fave tunes.
Naturally there’ll be plenty of beers available but Flukes will also have its own cocktail bar, so you can sip on the likes of Carlito’s Thunder (a rum punch) and Boff Whalley (a twist on a Manhattan) between games. And you can refuel with Big Penny Social’s sourdough pizzas plus small plates like pork scratchings with piccalilli mayo, spiced lamb scotch eggs with harissa dip, and bitesize Yorkshire puddings with cauliflower cheese.
