Max Fishman and Rodrigo Cervantes are swapping one churchyard for another
After making a name for themselves with sausage burritos, birria tacos and other inventive Mexican dishes in the yard of St John at Hackney Church, Max Fishman and Rodrigo Cervantes have made the move over to Shoreditch. And in true Bad Manners style, they’re setting up a new kiosk in the grounds of Shoreditch Church.
You’ll still be able to get the legendary breakfast burritos that made their name at the new site, alongside a rotating selection of seasonal lunchtime burritos, like blood orange rib barbacoa with flor de mayo beans, red rice, pickles, fresh herbs and salsa. Ex-Smoking Goat and Kiln chef Rodrigo will also be dishing up an array of Mexican specials – in Hackney he did everything from katsu mole to spam tacos – so it’s worth heading down to see what creations he’s cooking up.
