London’s Most Hyped Club Lost Is Returning

One of London’s most mysterious – and coolest – club nights, Lost, is making a comeback this November. True to form, details remain thin. Social accounts are keeping shtum about when, where and what exactly the new events will involve, while its website just says: “we have uncovered a city within a city. a 24 hour district in the heart of london. we want to build it with you.” Intriguing.

Make of that what you will, but if it’s anything like the previous incarnation – we can expect this to be the hottest ticket in town.

That run wrapped up a few months ago. The artist-led collective had transformed the old Odeon cinema (which was the Saville Theatre before that) on Shaftesbury Avenue into a multi-level venue that hosts parties including live performances, DJ sets, film screenings and more. Like a growing number of clubs, including the re-opened Palais in Peckham, Lost is phone-free. Your phone goes in a pouch at the door, so the only way to find out what it looks like is to go.

We’ve written plenty about how tough things are for London’s nightlife, and about the push to save it, with Tinie Tempah among those leading the charge. A night this ambitious coming back is exactly the kind of news the scene needs.
