One Dish Wonders | Eat & Drink

London has a lot of restaurants and a lot of delivery options, which means that there are a lot of dishes being served at any one time

Throw in guest chef residencies, takeovers and restaurant collabs, it’s easy for some bangin’ specials to pass you by. Well not anymore because we’ve rounded up the best limited edition plates, aka one dish wonders, available for eat-in, delivery and takeaway in one place so you know where and when to get them.

081 Pizzeria x MEATliquor

To mark the first anniversary of their Peckham joint, 081 Pizzeria is working with MEATliquor to launch the ‘Chilli Dog Inferno’ pizza. Inspired by both Texas-style chilli burgers and Neapolitan pizza, the special starts with MEATliquor’s famous beef chilli con carne, which is topped with beef hot dog, diced white onions and pickled jalapeños before it’s finished off with a drizzle of French’s mustard. You can try it for yourself at 081 or by ordering a pie online, but act fast, this one’s only available until the end of March.

Flat Iron’s Bearnaise Burger

If you can’t bring yourself to deviate from a steak at Flat Iron, this might be the thing to tempt you. The Bearnaise Burger is back on the menu and it’s been revamped slightly so it’s even better than the first time around. It’s got two smashed patties made from Flat Iron’s own beef, pickles, shallots, American cheese, dripping fried batter scraps and homemade Bearnaise sauce and yes, it’s as saucy as it sounds.
