It’s all change on the roof of the Shoreditch hotel
One Hundred Shoreditch is bringing the best of the East Med to the East End with its new rooftop restaurant Kaso. Using her upbringing in Istanbul as the inspiration, Chef Ilknur Celik has designed the menu, which features dishes like:
- babaganoush
- feta cheese borek
- octopus with samphire and olives
- grilled mackerel with cornbread
- roast aubergine with zhoug and tahini
- lamb cutlets with fig and pistachio salsa
- muhallebi, Greek mastic and pistachio
Kaso’s Head Bartender Victor Gervasio has created a cocktail list to match, including serves such as the Margarissa (tequila, harissa, lime and agave) and the Kasonist (Greek wine, vodka, watermelon scrub and soda). The seventh-floor spot boasts epic views over the city from its terrace but the interiors, all pink marble and foliage, aren’t too shabby either.
