It’s the news that Oasis fans have been waiting for for fifteen years; Liam and Noel have buried the hatchet and decided they’re ready to be back on stage together. The band will be heading out on the road for a world tour, kicking off with a run of shows in the UK and Ireland next summer, which’ll be their only European shows in 2025 (does that mean a Glasto headline slot is off the cards?).
Both Liam and Noel have been successfully releasing music and playing live separately since the band split but there’s nothing quite like the brothers performing together. The reunion announcement comes the same week as the 30 anniversary of Oasis’ debut album Definitely Maybe, which’ll be re-released as a deluxe 30th-anniversary edition on Fri 30th August. Speaking about the tour, the band said, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
The OASIS LIVE ’25 tour will be hitting Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin, with the dates as follows:

If you were one of the 10 million fans who tried to buy tickets on Sat 31st August, you’ll know just what a nightmare experience it was – pages crashing, getting stuck in queues for hours, and dynamic ticket pricing from Ticketmaster inflating the already expensive tickets to nearly three times their face value.
Addressing the backlash for the first time, reps for the band said, “it needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used. While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations.”
In an effort to make up for the issues, Oasis have announced two additional dates at Wembley Stadium on 27th and 28th September (all of the July and August dates in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Edinburgh and London are sold out). These tickets will be released via an invitation-only ballot and “applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on sale with Ticketmaster.” That’s all the info we have at the moment, so we’re not sure how or when this will happen yet. Watch this space…
