The Selfridges Christmas Shop is open

And it’s bigger than ever – 22% bigger to be exact

It’s official, Christmas in London is back. At the beginning of the month, Liberty opened its festive doors and now Selfridges is getting in on the Christmas action too. The seasonal store is taking over an entire floor, making itself at home on the lower ground level of the Oxford Street shop, and it certainly needs the space since it’s stocking a massive 900 decorations. Aside from baubles, you can stock up on crackers, lights, stockings, cards, beauty advent calendars, food, fashion, toys and accessories.

With spinning trees, toy trains running on tracks, cuckoo clocks and a Lemax model village fairground snowscape, it sounds like this year’s Selfridges Christmas Shop will be like the real-life version of the famous decoration scene from Elf. And, though there’ll already be plenty of exclusive items, anyone looking for something extra special can drop by the personalisation grotto to create their own bespoke baubles, stockings and wrapping paper. Why wait for December? The festive season is officially ON.
