The city will be going be off with a bang
Rather than set off a couple of rockets in your backyard or light some soggy sparklers on your balcony, let the professionals take care of the pyrotechnics by heading to a proper fireworks display. From the annual Ally Pally extravaganza to the big show in Battersea, these are the best places to watch the fireworks in London.

Alexandra Palace
Bonfire Night will truly be going off with a bang at Ally Pally as this year there’ll be not one but TWO days of festivities. As always, there’ll be a spectacular array of fireworks, soundtracked by a killer playlist and with the London skyline in the background. After debuting last year, the pre-fireworks drone show will also be returning for 2025. There’ll also be plenty else on, with the entertainment programme including sets from DJ Luck & MC Neat and Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton tribute acts; loads of street food stalls; an ice disco; a German bier festival; and a bonfire.

Battersea Park
Fireworks are back at Battersea Park this year with another TWO days of bonfire night celebrations. On the Saturday, there’ll be a spectacular fireworks display, fire shows, DJs and more, as well as plenty of options for warming food and drinks. Then, on the Sunday, there be a family-friendly edition, with an earlier start time and loads of activities to keep the kids busy. Luckily, you won’t be too far away from Battersea Power Station and if you want to watch the display in real style, you can do so from the top of one of the chimneys at Lift 109.

Both are set to music and there’ll be plenty of food – including the likes of hotdogs, vegan burgers and naan wraps – as well as a funfair.
