Seven Dials Market by KERB is practically giving food away this Thursday for one hour only. We’re talking giant New York–style pizza slices for just 71p, bowls of creamy Cacio e Pepe for £1.50, bao boxes for a quid, chicken sandos for £2.40 – the kind of prices you haven’t seen since the 1970s.
And no, this isn’t a flash sale or a pre-Black Friday gimmick. It’s part of our campaign, calling out the brutal realities of running a hospitality business in the UK right now. From soaring overheads to punishing VAT, operators are being squeezed to the point of collapse – and consumers rarely get to see how little restaurants actually take home.

For one hour only, each trader at Seven Dials Market will sell 75 of their signature dishes at the exact amount they pocket after costs, VAT, and tax. The tiny numbers speak for themselves – and they show just how broken the current system is. With the government’s budget landing next week, this is a wake-up call for Westminster to step in before more independents disappear for good.
Here’s the full line-up:
Bad Boy Pizza – Notorious PIG Slice (pepperoni, nduja, hot honey), £0.71 (RRP £6)
Arnabeet – Syrian Chicken Wrap, £1.15 (RRP £11.50)
Yum Bun – Bao & Gyoza Box (two baos, two gyozas, rainbow slaw), £1 (RRP £13.50)
Mezzo – Rigatoni Cacio e Pepe, £1.44 (RRP £9.50)
Lucky’s – Fried Chicken Sando, £2.40 (RRP £12)
To claim your dish, just show this post to the trader when you place your order.
The offer runs for one hour only, kicking off at 1pm sharp. Each trader has a limited number of dishes. The dishes are being funded by London on the Inside, KERB and B2B communications consultancy Aver PR.
This event is to help highlight the TAXED OUT initiative we’ve being getting behind from UK Hospitality – a campaign pushing for urgent reform to support the hospitality industry, protect jobs, and stop independents from being taxed out of existence.
